Gradient team donate their Christmas time to local charities

Gradient’s team have started 2016 on a high by celebrating the good deeds their staff have carried out over the Christmas period. As part of their commitment to community involvement, directors Richard Garland and Clare Armstrong gave all of the team extra paid leave over the Christmas period in exchange for staff doing something to make a difference to someone in their community – the only stipulation was that we all brought in a photo to display in our wall of fame.

Everyone in the team chose their own way of giving their ‘extra’ time, which included donations of goods and money to the Trussell Trust, Raystede and British Heart Foundation and volunteering with a homeless group. Building Surveyor Gavin Keats proved that charity really does begin close to home as he gave up his time to decorate for an elderly neighbour. Clare was thrilled with the feedback “everyone really got behind the idea and it was brilliant to see the variety of different ways that we all chose to make a difference”.
